Nope! Not giving up on it, just wanted to let some of the other projects clear up first. I'll get back on it one day soon!

It's taken me a while to respond to this little challenge but you have cleared up something in a recent comment.....this is an experiment to benefit the average joe. With that in mind..and remebering that it was entrecard that got you thining about this, I have some suggestions.

I was looking on entrecard for the most popular (ie dropped on blogs) in the blogging resources catergory and the results are below.

1) Thebuzznutter dot com
2) Turnipofpower dot com
3) Atniz dot com

I also noticed that you can now get adverts on the Entrecard Blog for $75 a month. Now with all these people using Entrecard I wonder how much visibility you would get there?! The most popular site is a blogspot one and does not accept ads. So from the above I would be interested in results from Entrecard blog and Turnipofpower.

Project wonderful was next to useless for ideas and my other ideas included sites like smashing magazine!

I've done similar experiments in the past. I'd be curious as to how an ad spread across an entire network, such as Gawker, or b5 would do. But it's a bit expensive!

Oh, and I got an idea for another post you could do as an experiment. Do people prefer CMS layouts, or just blog type layouts..

I don't know much about tech blogs, so I don't know if the audience would really help you much. Wait, what is this blog about again? LOL. Just kidding, but I know the only successful advertising campaign I've put out there was within the Gawker Media sites, I bought a one day link that appeared in 3 of their sites in between posts and I got 30,000 visitors before my server went shit. Unfortunately I didn't calculate this very well as My site was only about a week old with five posts, and it was ridiculously expensive.

[...] The advertising experiment While I used to click on them quite regularly (almost like quick links to other blogs) I’ve often wondered how much traffic they actually drive to a site.
